MEET MEGAN!
Born and raised in Meaford, Megan has always enjoyed all that Meaford has to offer and loves being part of such a growing community. Her love of the “small town charm” which Meaford is known for helps her excel at The Kitchen. After working in the industry for 20 years with long time friend and Mentor Christine Collins, Megan knew she wanted to keep Christine's legacy alive and made the leap to purchase The Kitchen in 2018. Megan was excited to add her own flair to the business all the while keeping the high quality food and service which The Kitchen is known for intact. Megan has embraced her love of food, cooking and customer service and her enthusiastic smile is noticed by many.
Megan enjoys chatting with her regulars and meeting new people. She takes pride in helping people make any occasion extra special with her attention to detail and professionalism. Megan is a proud mother of 2 young children and is thrilled to be able to raise them in her ‘stompin’ grounds’. Her school aged-daughter can often be found running around helping out where she can, that is when she is not busy figure skating, skiing or swimming. Having a business in the heart of the town allows Megan to fully embrace and share in all that Meaford has to offer in the community.
The Kitchen offers full service catering for large or small weddings, cocktail parties, birthday parties, garden parties, business functions and many others events. We have a line of frozen prepared foods that we make in-house, along with a variety of prepared appetizers and fresh homemade pastries. With pride in using locally sourced produce and ingredients, we will be sure to make your next event memorable.
